I negotiate...

With my roommate who can use the cooking station
When friends meet if they meet and what we do
When we go to the Mensa
With yourself what you do on the daily basis
If you study today (is not happening)

What do you negotiate?
Street shopping
Trip planning among friends
Deciding on dinner at home

Negotiation for deadline extension.

When we have different opinions
With yourself about what food I wanna eat today.  ???

Conclusion
Coming to common terms within different people with different views.
Sometimes it is a compromise and not negotiation exactly
Negotiating is also fixing the price of a product while shopping.
Not necessarily conclude with common terms benefitting both. It can be one sided too.
